Richard Price studied diesel mechanics and worked in a local repair shop before purchasing Antrim Diesel Service in 1981. Originally located on North Allison Street, the business quickly outgrew those facilities and moved to its current location in 1983, with land purchased from the Greencastle-Antrim Area Development Corporation. Continued growth led to several expansions to include a wash bay, additional truck bays, office space, and parts and shipping rooms. The most recent addition is the building dedicated to the Taylor Dynamometer, featured annually during ‘Dyno Day’ as people come from miles around to compete or just to see and hear the mighty trucks. Antrim Diesel is known nationwide for its outstanding custom turbo-charging service.
